SISE Reflection

My SISE conference with our newly named Superintendent Dr. Timothy Chargois was very pleasant and timely.  Dr. Chargois previewed my intern action plan carefully and stated that my year has been quite busy. He asked questions about each of the competencies before he wrote  a reflective comment.  Dr. Chargois felt I have shown great improvement in  competencies 006 – 008. He suggested that I continue to network with my collegues at the secondary level to increase my knowledge and skills beyond the elementary level to master growth in competencies 006-008. I received a proficient rating in these areas.
He encouraged to stay student focused and continue the great job with implementing cross curricular with many departments in the district, continue the professional development and networking with professiona support systems in the district.  I ranked exemplary in competencies 001- 007
Dr. Chargois provided sound  advise throughout my internship on how to approach other professionals for support during the implementation and development of my intern plan.  I realize that in order for my administrative leadership skills and abilities to develop I would need to  self-promote engagement with district activities and district personnel at the central office level.

Update to Vita Reflection

To update my professional Vita I included my current year’s professional development trainings.  In the future I would like to include additional presentations. Otherwise there were no significant changes made the Vita.

Three Year Professional Plan Reflection

In creating the development of my Professional Development Plan I learned that ongoing planning and implementation will enhance the outcome of my leadership experiences, skills, and knowledge as I pursue advancement towards the Superintendent position.   It provided opportunities for me to collaborate, communicate, and work effectively through shared educational experiences with other colleagues.
